Anti-Harassment Policy

Effective July 1, 2026

ZYON Youth Development has zero tolerance for harassment of any kind. This policy applies to all ZYON participants, parents, coaches, staff, volunteers, and visitors.

Definition of Harassment

Harassment includes any unwelcome conduct based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law. It includes verbal, written, physical, and visual conduct that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment.

Examples include but are not limited to: offensive jokes, slurs, epithets, physical intimidation, threats, unwanted touching, disparaging images, and social exclusion based on protected characteristics.

Reporting

Any individual who witnesses or experiences harassment should report it immediately to ZYON leadership through . Reports can be made anonymously. All reports are taken seriously and investigated promptly.

Consequences

Anyone found to have engaged in harassment will be subject to immediate removal from ZYON activities and programs. For staff or volunteers, this constitutes grounds for immediate termination. In cases involving illegal conduct, ZYON will cooperate with law enforcement.

No Retaliation

Retaliation against anyone who reports harassment in good faith is strictly prohibited and will be treated as a separate and serious violation of this policy.
